Innovations for Differentiation/Personalization These grant proposals should focus on curricular supplies for lessons and/or projects that promote differentiation or personal learning in your classroom. Proposals that address intervention and enrichment opportunities, as they relate to a broader sense of equity and inclusivity are encouraged.
Innovations for Technology Integration These grant proposals should focus on software and applications that teachers would like to pilot to innovate and personalize their instruction. With these grants, the goal would be to turn-key or pilot programs that could be expanded to grade-level teams, departments or a district technology library.
Innovations in Classroom Design These grant proposals should focus on innovative classroom designs to support personal learning. How can a classroom be reimagined to inspire learners? What do you need in order to create that space?
Makerspaces/Innovation Zones These grant proposals should focus on the purchase of materials to support tinkering and student exploration. What are the materials needed to foster creativity, collaboration, critical thinking and problem solving skills?
Innovations to Support School District Goals These grant proposals should focus on sustainable projects that support one or more of the district goals. Does your project connect to possible community partnerships? Foster diversity and inclusion initiatives? Use data to implement enrichments or interventions? Broaden opportunities or support for students?

Project Description

Describe the project and its goals. List specific activities or steps that will be needed to meet the project’s goals. State the period of time for your project, from planning through implementation. Include other details such as longevity of the project (e.g., whether the project will span several months or several years, if there is room for partnership with other educators, schools or community programs, etc.) *

Describe the needs of the students that this project meets. Briefly explain how the project aligns with the CFEE mission of funding grants that have an impact on student learning, growth, and/or achievement. *

How does your proposal advance the cause of equity and inclusion? Equity may be related to learning differences, underrepresented groups, diversity of race, gender, culture or ability. *

Proposed costs should be developed using school-approved vendors, and include expenses such as shipping. Applicants may review approved-vendor lists in their administrative office.

Evaluation

All funded applicants are required to complete a Project Evaluation Form and questionnaire and communicate the end result of the funding following implementation of the grant.
